My name Donna. I am the Registered Manager at Blooming Good Care and have worked within the health and social care sector for over 27 years.
My career began at the age of 16 and has given me experience across a wide range of services, including community care, learning disabilities, secure settings, day services and the NHS. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about supporting people to live independently, maintain their dignity and achieve the best possible quality of life.
I hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care and am currently completing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. I strongly believe that learning never stops and continually look for opportunities to develop both myself and the services I lead.
I joined Blooming Good Care in July 2025 as a Senior Care Assistant. Through hard work, dedication and a shared commitment to delivering outstanding care, I progressed to the role of Registered Manager in January 2026. Having worked directly within the community before moving into management, I have a thorough understanding of both the challenges and rewards involved in delivering high-quality domiciliary care.
I am passionate about driving continuous improvement, developing staff and ensuring the people we support receive safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services. I believe in leading by example, supporting my team to grow and creating a culture where both staff and clients feel valued, respected and listened to.
I am incredibly proud to be part of Blooming Good Care and to lead a team that shares the same vision: providing compassionate, person-centred care that helps people remain independent within the comfort of their own homes.
